There are huge differences in MBA degrees.
First, there are the top 20 programs. All of these are AACSB schools but are held in very high prestige. Graduates typically receive multiple offers before graduation and are easily able to slide into very good careers.
Next there are your AACSB schools and they are good for people without much experience or for ones looking to receive a promotion when finished with the program. Some will be lucky and land very good jobs upon graduation and others will sell automobiles. Some will get promotions and other will remain at their same level forever.
As for the non-AACSB schools, I would image they are okay for one who is fairly well established in their career and is just looking to get some more knowledge to help them with their job. It might be helpful for one who is a chemist or something similar and is looking to gain some quick knowledge to help them transition into a management position.
